I just called @djbradshaw64. He's such a lovely man. We talked about how weird being thrust into the public eye is but ultimately how touching mass kindness is in response. We had a laugh too. Dave was so grateful for our fund. But graciously said he can't accept our donations...
He feels this money could go to help people who need it more than him. He has support, so would like to pay it forward. ♥️ We decided together than in the spirit the donations were given it would be wonderful to donate to a Mental Health initiative, and Dave chose @MindCharity.
As Dave said, it's 'beautiful' to be able to turn something negative into something positive and put good into the world, so we're really happy to be able to send £6,000 to @MindCharity as the coronavirus pandemic is having a huge impact on our mental health.
Thank you so so much from Dave and I for your generosity. This is what the internet should be for!
