Have you heard?
We recently launched #KeepItReal, a campaign which aims to open a debate on disinformation and #FreedomOfExpression with young people in #Ireland.

But what exactly is disinformation?
And how does it impact your right to freedom of expression?

Follow our thread🔻

🟠10- In #Ireland, the Government is considering a new law which could create an alternative way of dealing with the issue.

The 'Online Safety and Media Regulation Bill' is intended to provide strict guidance to #SocialMedia companies on their platforms' content regulation.

🔻
🟠11- The Bill is currently before @OireachtasNews and it is expected to be enacted early this year to address growing concerns in #Ireland on users’ online safety, and implement EU laws on the issue.
