Neoliberal countries with limited materialist, feminist and socialist cultures (US, Canada) seem to be the most completely captured by genderism at population level.

In Europe, everyone knows De Beauvoir or Marx. In the US, Beyonce is a feminist icon and Marx a terrorist.
We see the US and Canada as less sexist, more progressive than Europe (as a French woman, I certainly used to think so) but we are wrong.
US feminism has no deep intellectual foundation. Or rather its foundations and analysis were quickly replaced by a neoliberal void.
Transgenderism has been exported from deeply religious, neo-liberal, capitalist countries with no class consciousness and no feminist tradition to speak of (it has been forgotten and replaced by celeb girl-power). Europe is bound to reject it in the end.
In the US on the other hand it is increasingly becoming the new religion, adopted by a population that has never left religion behind. They adopted capitalism and neoliberalism not as social or economic models, but as ideologies. Genderism is their extension.
It is in the US that we must most vigorously fight this ideology. The "good" side of Trump was to lessen the influence and dominance of American culture and economic model abroad in an unprecedented way.
Genderism will only be defeated when american neoliberal capitalism is.
