How to sell when you do not like to sell.

1. First step is removing the mental barrier that selling is a bad thing. It isn’t. You are providing a solution to someone’s need and you are sold to all the time. Everyone sells.
2. Understand the difference between sales and marketing then do both. Simply put, marketing prepares the ground for sales by creating prospects and then sales closes on those prospects.

3. Focus on value. This one is simple. When you focus on the value of the product or service to prospects, it becomes easier to sell.
4. Sell through other people. Word of mouth, leverage, partnerships, brand advocates and community.

5. Selling is a relationship and a sale is the beginning of a relationship not the end so treat it as one. Nurture it and invest in that relationship.
6. Finally create a system around it. Do you have a sales funnel that runs auto? If no, create one.
