"There will be time to smell the roses Jonathan"

That one of the very first lessons my mentor taught me

There are 3 groups of person's in this world.

1. Those who watch things happen

2. Those who make things happen

3. Those who wonder why things happen
Which group are you my friend?

You don't have to answer but should already know from what happens to you and the quality of your decisions.

But whichever group you are, don't be among those who watch things happen or wonder why things are happening.
You can't be in any of those two groups if you want to be successful.

You need to be the person who makes things happen.

And I'm going to tell you exactly how you can become that person.

Just keep reading.
I was not always the person I am today. 6 years ago, I use to be the person who wondered why things happen.

Why am I broke or why is that person rich and I am not?

or why is that person able to buy a car and I can't! what is he doing that I am not doing?!
That used to be me.

And that morning when I walked into my mentor's office, he could tell the gloom on my face.

I have since grown as an entrepreneur and a business person since that time and...
...there are two very important lessons I have learned from millionaires and billionaires I have read about.

Here are the two:

1. To get what you want, you must deserve it

6 years ago, I wasn't the person who deserved success.
I was clueless and naive about the world.

But I wanted success.

In order to become it, I needed to become a person who deserved success,

And to do that I needed to increase my "worth" factor
In case you're wondering what that even means, it simply means the things...
...you do daily to become wiser and better.

And these things can be reading books, listening to podcasts, watching successful people talk (in this age of cellphones, many ignore this and are self-absorbed).

Self-educating yourself so you become wiser each day.
If at this point you still hesitate on self-education, you're doing yourself a lot of harm my friend.

You need to lose something to increase your self-worth.

Let's look at Tiger Woods for example.
Do you think he became one of the greatest golf players of all time by sitting on a couch all day?

Or eating junk food or drinking soda and watching Netflix?
Or do you think Genevieve Nnaji got the million dollar deal with Netflix and becoming a billionaire from watching Telemundo and Netflix all day and posting fake houses that are not hers and blaming the internet for it?
All the little things add up to making these people into people worthy and deserving of success.

So how do you figure out what you need to work on to raise your "worth" factor?

2. Have a high level of awareness

It's time you become aware of what's happening around you.
It's time you start distinguishing things that are not real from things that are real.

For instance, it's time you know you shouldn't purchase schemes like MMM and Loom but lookout for real businesses to build, to grow.
And you do that by observing and listening to your surroundings

Not just watching and hearing.

When you ignore this, you're like a man who would rather bathe in mud than under a running water fountain.

You need to observe and listen, my friend.
There's a huge difference.

People who wonder about what's happening around the world and wonder how an 18-year-old is turning a millionaire are only watching and hearing

(they don't know there are legit ways of making money e.g eCommerce, affiliate marketing, CPA, etc).
People who make things happen, observe, listen, and implement.

For instance, not everyone who started reading this post would get to this point.

By observing and listening, you notice the actual significant things.

You start noticing patterns.
Billionaire "Mark Cuban" (google his name if you don't know him) says this is one of the main reasons for success.

By noticing patterns, you're able to see things that are invisible to the average.

"Blessed is the man who believes without seeing" John 20:29.
You notice the beginning of trends.

For instance, do you know that the world is moving toward AI (Artificial Intelligent) and the eCommerce industry was valued at over $10 trillion in 2020?

You probably don't because you're in your corner wondering why things are happening!
And saying "God when"

Let me further blow you away. The eCommerce industry is estimated to reach $75 trillion by 2025.

If you're observant, you'd know the industry is still in its infant stage in Nigeria with an expected projection of over $6m in 2021.
You can verify all these on http://grandviewresearch.com/  and http://statista.com/

And you know what happens if you catch a trend early? Massive wealth potential.

But you can only become good at noticing patterns if you start developing awareness.
Watch smart people and see what they do.

Look at successful people and learn what they did to get to where they are at.

You need to have humility and awareness to notice trends.
I just finished a call from a woman and I am certain she's going to fail because she's still doing what 80% of newbies do when they start an eCommerce business.

I wrote a post about this some time ago
"The one thing you must avoid like a plague if you want to be successful with your eCommerce business"

Anyhoo, let me end this by asking you a question…

“If you were in a room full of your old school classmates, would everyone bet on you to become the most successful?”
My answer is simply to find the person who is most aware.

I've found that it's one of the best indicators of success in someone's future.

Another one is having a high level of conscientiousness, but we'll get into that lesson another time.
My friend, I want you to be that person.

The person everyone can put their money on.

Someone with a high level of awareness.

And to help you become that person you need to internalize the two lessons inside this post.
Be a person who deserves success and develop massive awareness.

By the way, another way to raise your worth factor and deserve what you want is to learn from the best in your chosen path.

You need to know that you're in competition with just one person.

YOU!
You are only in competition with yourself and you can deserve more than you have right now.

But you have to mold yourself into that person who deserves it.

And you can start doing that today.
