Journalist Safwat Zargar in his article in SCROLL dated 03 January 2021, made some important revelations after interviewing the families of those eliminated in #SrinagarEncounter

Athar told his sister on 29 Dec at around 3:30 PM that he has gone to #Srinagar and will reach home late in the evening or next day morning. He also said that his phone might be switched off due to low battery. #kashmir #TerrorFreeKashmir

Ajaz told his family that he was in #Pulwama and he would be home either in the evening or next morning. He also told them that his phone might shut down due to low battery.

Again, Zubair on the same lines, also told his family that he would be late and would return late in the evening or next morning. #ParentsNeedToMonitorChildren

A common thread here to notice is that they all told their parents that they will come back late in the evening or early next day. Ajaz and Athar told their parents that their phone might also shut down due to low battery. #Srinagar #Kashmir

Think about it. Who gave them this common narrative. What was their purpose in #Srinagar of going together & stay for the night. None of them gave any reason for being out & with whom were they spending the night in Srinagar. Why did they plan to switch off the phones.
