Someone once said: "as long as you're a non-Hausa Muslim in Nigeria, then you are a convert".
And he meant it as an insult.
Converting/repenting doesn't make people less Muslims. Allah named us Muslims, not reverts/converts.

You can do better.
The otherising vibes you're giving "converts" either by means of calling them converts or looking down upon them for being converts leaves a blemish in the hearts of these Muslims. This attitude has prevented many from repenting.

Converts are Muslims, call them Muslims.
Allah names us all Muslims:
ملة أَبيكم إبرَٰهيمَۚ هو سمَّـٰكُمُ ٱلمسلمين من قبل وفى هَٰذا
[It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation]
~(Q22:78)

Similarly, STOP calling deaf people "kurma", dwalves "wada", dumb "bebe", "gurgu" and the likes to their faces.
Even though it's their condition, they didn't choose it. They have a heart, just like you do. No one will want to be identified by their disability.
