4 Ways to Begin Conquering Fear.

Your fears are but an illusion of your mind.

You can keep rebelling, shouting, fighting in your mind, but nothing will change in reality.

// THREAD //
1. Let it Happen

- We are scared to do something because of the consequences.

- We are scared to go to that event because of the people.

Next time you feel anxious about something just go to it, let it happen. What you'll find is that terrible thing won't happen.
2. Just Do It

Nike has it right.

Overthinking is tiring.
Being scared is tiring.

Next time just does it. Don't think about it.

Before your mind can begin to rebel and engage in its cycle of self-denial - kill it early, just do it.
3. Write Down that Which You Fear

"I'm scared of talking to that girl."
"I'm scared of an interview"

Write it down.

Now re-frame it.

What could I do if I could solve this?
How can I conquer this?

Your mind is powerful, figure it out. Then follow the last two points.
4. Deconstruct the fear into steps.

Fears are often rooted in our identity.

You're shy.
You're insecure.
You're physically incapable.

You fear it because it's not you.

Expose yourself to the fear bit by bit.

- Say one sentence a day.
- Start working out.

Get used to it.
