Multiple revenue streams is key, but it's always easier when you build out one business first, and you're other streams leverage the original. Let me explain...
We're a web design agency, that's where our focus lies. However, we also create other resources including:

- Premium Website Templates
- Online Courses

Now, both of those additional revenue streams leverage the web design agency.
By focusing 100% on the agency, our team learns as much as possible about how to build out sites for clients. I invest in training, and work to make sure sites follow clean implementation and structure.

Now, peep this...
I document everything.

From the way we do audits to the steps for onboarding clients, everything is recorded via Standard Operating Procedures (y'all know I talk SOPs all day).
Now, based on these SOPs, I can create additional revenue streams based on our core skill set.

Since we create custom sites for clients, why not build site templates for a specific niche of agencies where a template can be used?

We can use the SAME process...
for Q&A, site structure, etc... @webflow also provides topical data to template creators based on what their audience needs.

Now, we can create a template in the same manor we would a client. The big difference is we can take this template and sell it...
Oh, and remember those SOPs I was talking about?

You can also package those and sell those as a course, training or premium webinar!!

So, before you start another business, think about how you can leverage the resources in your current biz to diversify your income. Cheers!
And for those that need receipts, and this is strictly for motivation and transparency, here's a look at today's sales (from only the revenue streams mentioned above).
