Don't believe me when I say IfNotNow is irrelevant, a shell for the same few "activists" who ally with antisemites, and pushes forward/is pushed forward by antisemites? A thread.
IfNotNow's most recent tax filing for the "If Not Now Education Fund", for the 2017-18 period, showed ~$497,000 in revenue. Does this sound like a "national" organization worthy of representation on par with even J Street ($2.6 million)?
Guess how they spent the $497,000? $78,000, or 16%, went to TRAVEL. $53,000, or another 11%, went to CONFERENCES. For comparison, J Street spent $20,000 on travel, and $82,000 on conferences, a combined 4% of their revenues.

IfNotNow travels and talks, to itself most of all.
Maybe IfNotNow just works off volunteers, right? Well, no. It has 750 volunteers, and spends $127,000 on salaries for paid workers. J Street, tiny J Street, has 400 volunteers and spends $1.7 million on salaries. J Street spends on people. IfNotNow spends on travel.
Speaking of people, who are IfNotNow's people? I mean we all know who founded them, but they don't list their leadership publicly on their site. Fair enough, but they do list some leadership in their tax filings.
The President of the Board is Simon Mont. Mont has also been managing editor at Tikkun Magazine, another far-left publication. He doubles as a consultant at "Harmonize", a firm he founded, which trains orgs on "diversity, equity, and inclusion".
You'd hope he felt the same about helping orgs fight antisemitism. Instead, he propagates the same antisemitic myths about how Jews "learned" to "oppress" from groups like the Nazis, though he won't say "Nazis". Simon Mont, or Hamas, quoted? You decide.
Someone listed as a "managing director" on another event page is Becky Havivi...who also is coincidentally a "National Organizer" at Bend the Arc. Again, these groups are the same group of people, doing the same work, over and over. https://www.notfreetodesist.org/
IfNotNow has a National Campaign Director named Dani Moscovitch. Moscovitch, of course, spent time in JVP. Because these groups are ALL THE SAME. On May 14, she led a ceremony mourning deaths on the Gaza border. 90% of those killed that day were Hamas members, according to Hamas.
Their Director of Political Education and Training, Morriah Kaplan, was part of J Street U. Because these groups are ALL THE SAME.
Are you starting to notice a pattern? These groups feed off each other. They have few members. They barely represent any Jews of any kind. Yet they're presented as if they're "on par" with AIPAC, an actual national organization, even while they mourn terrorists. It's insanity.
