Thread: I have watched for @KenyaRVA request information for her entire previous term from the Richmond superintendent and administration prior to being asked to vote on issues with financial impact. She was often laughed at publicly by these same people while making requests.
Tonight I watched two other RPS board members, @foxinthebox08 & @Rizzi4RPS ask for the same information that @KenyaRVA & others have requested over and over. This includes employee salary data and org charts—info that we know exists, info that’s part of a normal budget proposal.
The reply tonight was that it may be hard to quickly provide this information. Why would we want elected officials to vote without this info?

I hope the new members stand united to demand better this cycle. Educators & students depend on it. Y’all keep pushing.
