I've followed and admired @dvassallo over the last 6 months.
He quit his $500k salary at Amazon, built an audience from scratch and now makes 6-figures on his "small bets".
Here's 5 things that I learned

Here's 5 things that I learned

1) Money alone isn't a good motivator
He'd feel great initially after a promotion, but it soon wore off.
He searched for the intrinsic motivators that would last "for the next 45 years""

2) One great article > many subpar articles
600 followers from one blog post.
"I got my first 600 followers on the day I posted the blog post ...Over the next month, it grew to about 2000 followers, and it kept growing gradually a few hundred followers per month."

3) One great thread can spawn a product
"[My] tweet thread about AWS got me another 2000 followers or so, and I ended up with ~8000 followers gained.."
This thread gave him the initial traction he needed to place his first bet. An info product, which did $45k in sales

4) People want to hear from YOU
There's a massive amount of resources on the internet about AWS. There's 2,000 books on Amazon. If there was a niche that was considered too crowded, AWS is it.
Yet people wanted to learn from Daniel.
Don't discount your own voice.

5) Share Your Work
Daniel began sharing his progress Twitter.
This spawned a whole new set of questions about how he grew his Twitter audience, which spawned his next course, which has sold over $100k
