How the 7 Chakras relate to Vedic Astrology and the Human body

Chakras are the 7 main energy centers in your body. Chakra comes from the Sanskrit word meaning wheel or disc. They are basically spinning wheels of energy and light.
The 7 chakras influence everything we do and can go out of alignment. Planets, Zodiac Signs, and Nakshatras are connected to human Chakras and Organs. If a planet is weak the Chakra connected to that planet will also be weak.
The Root Chakra (Muladhara) is located at the base of the spine.
It provides the foundation! It helps you feel grounded and able to withstand difficulties. The Root Chakra helps you feel secure and stable!

This Chakra is connected to intuition and imagination. It's closure to the divine.

Develops at 36-42 years

Colour: Dark Blue/Purple
Organs: Eyes, Pituitary & Pineal Glands, Brain
Endocrine Gland: Pituitary Gland
Planets: Sun and Moon
Zodiac Signs: Cancer and Leo
Nakshatra: Revati

Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) Is located at the top of the head. This Chakra is not associated with any planet, sign, or nakshatra. It is connected to the divine! It will invoke a spirtual awaking, attaining enlightenment, and connecting to the universal consciousness.
It also plays a role in your life's purpose!

Develops at 43-49 years old

Element: Divine Consciousness
Colour: Violet/White
Organs: Spinal Cord and Brain Stem
Endocrine Gland: Pineal Gland
Psychological/Physical symptoms of an unbalanced crown chakra: depression, lost faith, dementia, epilepsy, schizophrenia, light sensitivity, autoimmune disorders, neurological disorders,this chakra affects the health of our brain & our entire mental, physical, & spiritual health
Rahu is considered equal to Saturn! Rahu does not have houses. It is placed near the Crown Chakra!

Ketu is Considered equal to Mars! Ketu does not have houses. It is placed near the Root Chakra! Ketu in the 12th house of birthchart, will receive Moksha! (Released of rebirth)
