Genuinely can't remember a season where so many "truths" have been rendered ridiculous in the space of three/four games.

All of the big six alone have had complexions totally changed (and sometimes back again) in such short spaces of time.
- Liverpool were ravaged, commanding, obvious champions, now ravaged again
- United were a disaster, back, humiliated in Europe, now champions again
- City have gone back and forth, Pep finished to now ominous again
- Mourinho started past it, then BACK, then past it again
- Arsenal started nicely, suffered their worst run in decades, then look OK again
- Chelsea were potential champions, and now Lampard facing up to saving his job

And at other end Fulham have gone from potentially worst PL side ever to a resilient, solid side.
Don't think this is "modern football" either. The trend of the past decade has basically been that such spells have been guides to wider truths. That is something that has been exploded this season, in a way not seen in a long time.
This isn't a comment on any analysis. It's a comment on this season - which I think is unprecedented in modern era in how volatile it is.
