I also wanted to say some of us aren't invested in m/f or f/f ships because we don't want to project on the fiction we read, at least not in a 1:1 way.
Sometimes I just want to escape patriarchy and explore relationships with a power imbalance without feeling+

triggered because boss/secretary is a NICE trope until you think about the very implications it has IRL and you feel uncomfortable.
There are moments in which I want to have a good time and don't feel like analyzing every misogynistic detail in the media I consume, it is healthy+

to take a break from that sometimes.
And there are times in which I want to explore my trauma through fiction...outside of my own body idk how else to explain this
