Hello @CTULocal1 @chicagosmayor and @janicejackson. CPS teacher here who was forced to go back today and I have a few things to say after just one day of work:
1. No PPE was given to myself or any coworkers.
2. No air purifiers were given as promised for each classroom.

3. There was no additional sanitizer, wipes, etc. given.
4. There were only two of the seven stalls open in the public bathroom, forcing all staff (and next week, students) to use the same stalls.

5. Because I am a resource teacher, I share a small office with one other resource teacher who was also forced back today. Only one of the two windows in our office open. (Most staff members being forced to return share a room with 1-4 other staff members.)
6. According to CPS regulations, the classroom is not to be set up. Therefore, it is extremely unnecessary for teachers to be in school when students are not present.
Overall, this reopening “plan” is extremely disorganized and EXTREMELY dangerous.

**Forgot to add that my temperature was not taken when entering the building.
