@neu @nasuwt @NAHTnews @naht @CharteredColl Primary and secondary colleagues- you are now being kept as safe as you can be in these dark days. You’ve been signing petitions and shouting loudly....and as usual too late- common sense has prevailed... BUT...
... Meanwhile—yet again your colleagues who are often paid far less than you, who work often longer hours, and do some of the hardest work with the youngest children- are again completed disregarded, overlooked, ignored and basically thrown to the lions as they are told to open..
... These settings don’t have force fields around them. They don’t have the funding they need either. So I ask this of you. As you perhaps feel a sense of relief that you won’t be surrounded by 30+ possible Covid carriers over the next few weeks....
... and as you deliver your on line lessons- do more than spare a thought for our nations fantastic Early Years sectors....
.. don’t just post thank you messagex to our childminders, nursery workers, and EYs practitioners....
Stand with me. Stand together- to tell @GavinWilliamson @educationgovuk that this is a national disgrace- and we will not stand by....
And stand by your colleagues. This is a disgrace. You have been protected. They haven’t. End.
You can follow @KeepEYsUnique.
