Welsh ministers have so far not set any targets or timescales for the vaccination programme.

@BorisJohnson is aiming to vaccinate everyone in England's top 4 priority groups with one dose by the middle of February.

The same aim in Wales would mean vaccinating 740,350 people.
So, in the the first three weeks, just under 12,000 people were vaccinated per week.

Fragility of the Pfizer vaccine an obvious limiting factor and @WelshGovernment expecting around 40,000 doses of the Oxford vaccine over the next two weeks.
If we assume another roughly 12k were vaccinated last week (we'll know on Thursday) then we'd have gone in to this week with about 47k people vaccinated.

So, to reach ALL of the people in Wales' top 4 priority groups by mid-Feb, you'd need to vaccinate 693,350 over six weeks.
Even if you vaccinated 70% of the top 4 priority groups minus the roughly 47,000 vaccinated so far, you'd need to vaccinate 485,345.

That's around 80,890 a week for six weeks.

Ministers not expecting those kinds of weekly numbers until the end of January.
In short, it's a huge ask to hit those numbers in that timescale and an indication of the mammoth task ahead.
