The tone was off but I got lured in for a second: imagine if the author had taken this point and run with it and examined the power structures in academia who does and does not have power, reasons behind it and reasons why that's bad.

There's many things to zero in on here but I choose "complaining makes you look intolerable." If you are not a cis yt man or woman and have been told something along those lines, please raise your hand. (Black women raise 2 hands) Oh, most of you raised a hand? Shocking.
