Having read both the Scot Gov and Celtic statements on the Dubai trip seems to me that Celtic had it approved (in Nov) around the same time that the talk was of a 5 day relaxation period for the general public over the forthcoming Xmas period.

The situation obviously changed pretty dramatically in December with the new strain of the virus and thinks quickly going pear shaped.
That led to the relaxation being more or less binned & should have also served as a time for Celtic to reflect if the trip was really wise.

The trip in general shows a pretty stunning lack of awareness as to the sacrifices going on across the country, including of course within their own supporter base.
And that's completely without taking into account what's been happening on the pitch recently.

On the other hand Celtic are not breaking any rules.
As a nation I cannot understand why anyone is able to jump on a plane and go anywhere right now.
The travel policy has been fucking mental right from the get go with this virus.
Over and fucking out!
