This is the most important thread I’ve ever written and I need you to share it. 40 million Americans are at risk of being evicted at the end of this month. 28 million of those people have pets.

I feel sick to my stomach about this. So many people losing everything...and now may have to give up their beloved pets as well. BUT THEY NEED TO KNOW THAT THERE’S HELP.

Rehome ( http://rehome.adoptapet.com ) is a free service from the nonprofit Adopt-a-Pet .com. It helps people find great, safe new homes for their pets in times of need. It works. We’ve helped tens of thousands of people already.

Rehome also raises money for animal shelters and rescues. Adoption fees are donated 100% to the shelter that referred the owner. Last year we raised almost $150,000 for shelters.

I hope nobody loses their home. If that’s not possible, I hope those who do have friends or family who will take their pets. But EVERYONE needs to know about Rehome, just in case.
