Equating the Indigenous Strategic Plan with EDI, or subsuming it under EDI, is one of the biggest hurdles we face in the new year! ISP begins from the colonial experience and is not merely about inclusion and representation. Those are imp but do not capture ISP's core mission.
Implementing Indigenous human rights in post-secondary settings is a much different agenda. Trying to keep that agenda distinctive from - while also strongly supportive of - EDI work will remain a formidable challenge.
