I’m going to be sharing 30 days of remote work ~hacks~ to kick the new year off right.

Advice for new & experienced remote workers alike, whatever your role or field!

#30DaysOfRemoteHacks
Day one - Set office hours!
This may feel strange when your office is your home, but it's SO IMPORTANT to create boundaries with work to stop yourself from overworking & burning out.
Set specific office hours and let people know when you're available and when you're not.

Day two - Mute your notifications!
When you're doing focused work (like writing, designing, or coding), mute Slack and put your phone on DND.
Almost all messages can wait a few hours.

Day 3 - Separate work & home by simulating a commute.
No one likes commuting in traffic. But try leaving the house at the beginning & end of your workday for a nice walk.
This is a healthy way to create a more distinct boundary between work & life!
