Is there a place when #SDoH and privacy come into conflict? This is a question I've been thinking about as I work on my #healthcare analytics course material for the winter 2021 quarter. We often cite zip code and basic demographics as being the most simple and actionable 1/4
determinant. However, I have seen that the same age-sex-race-ethnicity cell in my zip code alone sees a wild variation in environment. Is your consumer data - your shopping habits, your search history, your credit score truly part of your #SDoH? 2/4
When does it infringe upon your civil liberties? When it is an invasion into your household? I look at #CRM/ #PRM tools and wonder whether my health system or health plan knows what subreddits I'm exploring on Reddit, where/when I'm dining out, and if those bear into 3/4
my risk/activation scores or forecasted expenditures. I'm curious for your thoughts on this topic as #digitalhealth in 2020/2021 becomes deeply engrained in our daily life. 4/4
