In the pre-stages of becoming an entrepreneur and defining my target audience I will say that I had an idea of who I wanted my services to cater to but once the business launched and the sales start rolling in it was hard to really keep track and keep up with who the target was.
The excitement, money coming in from all sides and not having any real campaigns in place that catered to exactly who I said my target audience was ultimately brought anyone and everyone into doing business with me.. It’s a great time... but a short time.
The hype could last for days, for weeks, for months, for year(s), but in turn the price you pay is easily having a confusing business model not just to who you’re reaching but also to for you as the creator. You’ll run into hiccups and those feelings of “what’s even happening”
Build a brand that’s suited to last. Not just something for the convenience of social media, because that’s where I’m noticing a lot of entrepreneurs losing their creative control and brand control. Too many moments of “what’s happening” with no real plan for “what’s next”.
I’ve researched bigger companies for months now in trying to dissect how they built their rising moments and kept rising and as basic and cliche as it sounds, foundation is truly key. Target audience and market is truly key. No matter what changes in business the people remain
(In terms of who they are reaching) and then give or take seasons that come that may alter the marketing strategies but understanding the people and what people is 🔑
