this is why people latched so badly onto mueller and the like too. the desperate want to believe that rules still matter and actions have consequences

i use micro examples of things like how power works at schools and jobs both because it's more relatable to people and bc it shows how these are microcosms of larger society and the shit with politicians is just the same as it is with dealing with shit in schools, work
