So there's loads of new resolutions kicking around about writing.

One thing that people tend to jump into is the, well, writing part of it, and that's not bad per se, but there's so many ways to write scripts taking some time to read them can help. So here's some links.
The BBC Writersroom has a bunch of scripts for drama, comedy, radioplays, and children's media. It's a great resource with loads of different scripts from different years. https://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts
Equally for those wanting to see TV scripts/bibles/pitch docs, there's this wonderful site: https://sites.google.com/site/tvwriting/
Script Slug has a bunch of rotating front page of scripts from piles of different time periods, which can be super helpful if you want to read your favourite film from back when or to find new TV scripts https://www.scriptslug.com/
Since it's award season, Simply Scripts has the Oscar contenders for this year up here https://www.simplyscripts.com/oscar-screenplays-93.html
There's piles more sites that have scripts, but the thing that is obvious once you start reading is that everyone has a different style. While most people do slugs a certain way, there's no 100% answer to these as long as it's clear to the reader.
So remember as you dig into everything that while the writing part is important - it's what you have to show - the research part is still part of writing. Reading scripts/books/coming up with ideas is all part of writing.
Also this year and all years... Remember to be kind to yourself. It's all part of the process, and all learning is good!
