Do You Have Anxious Thoughts?

Here's How i Got Over It Mine

////[A THREAD BY N8]////
This is a long thread so get some popcorn and get settle in a nice comfy spot.

I started feeling weird one day and i couldn't put my finger on what was wrong.

all i knew was my thoughts had became pessimistic, and i didn't know how to handle that.
when i couldn't understand my head i went to the next best thing... my mom

my mom recommended a physiatrist, skeptical at first i went along with it.

leading up to my first meeting i was anxious but i didn't understand that at the time.
after the session which lasted about an hour i was told i have generalized anxiety.

i was proscribed 50mg of zoloft to be taken once daily.

That pill started to work,

but a problem a huge problem arose.
The pill ridded my negative thoughts it also dulled my positive thoughts.

I asked myself " is this robotic like thought pattern worth it?"

No! I Told Myself

it is not worth it, i enjoy life too much it to be dampened by a pill.
4 things helped me into this transition of losing my anxiety.

1. I stop taking the pill (i'll explain)
2. I got comfortable in my head
3. I joined "Mindset/Money Twitter"
4. I started controlling my thoughts(harder)

if you are still here thanks for reading!
i stopped taking the pill for 2 reasons.

>i didn't like the way it made me feel

>i knew medicine wasn't the way to happiness

i didn't like the way zoloft made me feel.

it numbed who i am and it flattened my thought.

Imagine a corn field, my thoughts were that flat.
"What am I to do next?" i asked myself

If i could not beat it, i must understand it.
i found out that anxiety is a feeling,

the zoloft helped me understand this feeling.

once i took the pill i could understand how i felt on and off of the pill.
i chose to be overwhelmed to deal with my thought to overcome my anxiety.

i became comfortable within my thoughts and head.

How did i do this?
the thing that helped me was
mindset twitter, accounts like

@HustlingForever
@WritingToRiches
@HorizonsRebirth
@OneWiseMan__
@robertgriker

these accounts are inspired me and changed my mindset to help me think better.
remember you are what you scroll though,

if you choose to scroll through news all day that's great

but you will fall asleep in fear.

choose content to follow and scroll though that makes you happy.

that is the first step in changing the way you think.
now once you change your mind you can change your thoughts.

once you are happy it is relatively easy to control your thoughts.

controlling your thoughts is as easy as watering grass.

as grass needs water your mind needs fuel to be healthy.
social media can make your mind clear or very dull.

The things you see on a day to day basis on social media effects you.

Change the content you see to pleasure the mind you seek.
when you think you can control your thoughts you can.

The change happens when you plan who you want to be.
