Someone just texted me asking about how to make money on the side. I typed it up for them, so sharing here in case it helps you too:
Making money on the side is a skill just like anything else. You're going to have to practice.
Don't worry about the perfect idea and focus more on putting in the reps.

Products are harder to create, but they can work for you when you're asleep.
Digital products are even more scalable than physical because you can build them once and sell them many times over

Here's how you come up with ideas:
Write down a list of things you are passionate about or know a lot about.
Combine them and create business ideas from them. Make as many ideas as you can.
Don't worry about whether they're good.

I did this the other day as a fun idea exercise. My word was "fire".

I made a list of 23 ideas.
Then I picked the 8 best, flushed those out a bit more, and landed on one that would likely do well as a side hustle.

At the end of the day, if you want to make extra money, you're going to learn a lot and make a bunch of mistakes.
The biggest thing is to start putting in the reps. That's where you grow.
