in the nu-culture where online is more "real" than real life, one interesting thing to notice when you see those videos where 5 - 10 people are filming some person who has transgressed, is how people hold their cameras. they hold them out, offensively, partially to intimidate.
its a fragile piece of tech, so you would expect people to hold them close to their bodies, especially in a chaotic situation (usually when people are filming). but theres always at least one person, holding it out at arms length - their body language reveals "what theyre doing".
i read once that, you know how when you feel victorious, you can even imagine it right now, like you won a race - you instinctively pump your arms up or reach out laterally. thats innate. youre making yourself larger. apparently even blind people do this. its not learned behavior
theres also one of my other favorites - men "nod" to each other to greet (idk if women do this). you may have never noticed but if its someone u know, you nod up first, revealing your neck, because you trust them. if its a stranger you nod downwards. again this is innate. natural
likewise when u see those videos where everyone is filming, u see people holding their phones out at arms length sometimes, i suspect this is also innate and instinctual. they (subconciously) know that in this era they are holding an offensive tool and wield it as such. naturally
