One of the main issues why people (even Brahmins) eat almost anything nowadays is that they don’t do mantra anusthanas.

Large majority of the people who do mantra meditation will generally not eat beef.

While what I have said in the tweet above is not 100% true (because for almost anything in life there are few exceptions and there are exceptional people too ) BUT in general if you are engaged in meditation through mantras, you won’t eat beef.
What I have said holds true especially if Agni is part of your anusthana or forms the base of your sadhana. (people doing hours of homa or keeping a dhuni)
Even eating a bit of meat will make a difference to your inner experience.
So all three categories of these yogis won’t eat.
My use of the term “yogi” is loose and looks at the root “yuj”...
In general, if you put flesh of any kind into your flesh, your inner Fire is going to have a tough time digesting that.

1. You adapt: Jathara Agni becomes stronger, but BhutaAgni weaker! Ur capacity to digest mantras weakens.
2. You don’t adapt: fall ill eventually from the haphazard digestion.
Eat enough meat, (especially red meat), and eventually one more thing happens:
1. Kshobhana: Agitation of the mind and fearfulness. (Yogis say the fear will become your root)
2. Anger (Vrittis of lust and desires may end up inside you)
Desire for bhoga- unable to fulfil- anger
As I said before. Let me repeat.
This is not true for all.
But most will experience it.
If you desire state of Akshobhya, then practice mantras and cease beef.
You will see how automatically ur enemity will slowly get over as ur anger reduces and you stop response.
