If you're a doctor or a professional that's predominantly seen to be a man you're fine, so long as you're not a woman of course, then it's going to be fine. 2/
But if you're a nurse, including if you're a man, you're at risk 3/
This happened within the first wave as the right wing set their bots on many nurses, finding out everything they could about them to try to keep them silent when they spoke out about concerns to our safety and that of our loved ones 4/
And it's happening right now across social media and it's not okay. Because it places us all at risk 5/
Nurses care for people, it's within our code of conduct and it is an expression of our desire to make a difference.
So if you're someone who is a nurse or an ally of our profession we need you to unite with us and stamp this out 6/

Feminism for me is about ensuring that the women I work with have access to the properly funded services that safeguard their wellbeing and empower them to make informed choices 7/
For years we haven't had that, and it is for that reason that I am a political nurse and take action, within the public sphere, as a feminist to fight for this to change 8/
And when we work together to ensure that women, especially nurses, have a voice in the middle of global pandemic, we live up to those values 9/9
