I do not think that the CCP/Nazis comparison is just or proportional. The Nazis were genuinely worse. But, as the best anti-Nazi efforts were made by those who loved Germany and Germanness & saw Nazism as a perversion of it, fighting them as a way to recall Germans to themselves,
so the best anti-CCP work will be by those who know and love China, and can see the good of its civilization, and for that reason hate what is being done to it.

The global community of nations and peoples needs China-- and needs it to be itself, undistorted by the CCP.
I do think that in retrospect the lack of understanding of and horror at the cultural revolution and Maoism will prove to be one of the great blind spots of the 20th & early 21st centuries.
