Officer Patrick Sloan from the Sunray Police Dept in Texas died from COVID. “There’s not another guy on this planet like him, there just really isn’t. He was my best friend" said his son.
Raul "Roy" Gomez, Wharton County Sheriff in Texas died from COVID. "Roy was a true public servant to the citizens of Wharton County and he will be dearly missed." All this was preventable.
Officer Sean Rahina Wilson, died June 28, 2020, after contracting COVID-19 during an outbreak among staff and juvenile offenders at the Giddings State School in Lee County, Texas
56 y.o. Parole Officer Joseph Lange died after contracting COVID-19 while performing offender supervision duties in Texas. He served with @TDCJ for 25 years
52 y.o. Sergeant Raul Salazar, Jr. from Nueces County Sheriff's Office, Texas died from COVID on August 23, 2020. He served for 22 years.
Officer Roel De La Fuente died from COVID. He worked at the Pharr Commercial Facility in Hidalgo County, Texas. He served for 19 years. He is survived by his wife and two children
Prison Chaplain Akbar Shabazz, 70, with @TDCJ in Huntsville, Texas. He spent 40 years providing support to inmates in Texas prisons and credited with expanding the practice of Islam there. Sirena Adame, 29, daughter of Lubbock Officer Cesar Adame, died from COVID. “Somehow, that virus got into this house" His wife battling breast cancer & 18 yo son are also infected. Sirena had cerebral palsy
Corrections Officer Jesse Bolton died on May 6th after contracting #COVID19 during an outbreak at the Eastham Unit in Huntsville, Texas. Officer Bolton served for 12 years and we honor his sacrifice.

JJ Smith passed died COVID-19 on April 3, just days after his wife Gloria lost her battle. JJ was a retired Sgt. with the Michigan State Police. “They were the epitome of love and everlasting love,” said his daughter.
