It was about the original airdate of the 1st Mr. Potato Head toy commercial. I knew it was wrong cause I worked for the agency that produced the original ad and they had a plaque commemorating the date...

So I called up Snapple to tell them they got it wrong.
I was transferred to department after department, where I was put on hold each time... and for a long time. I spent hours doing this. And finally, I was put in contact with the department in charge of the Snapple Facts...

I told the person on the other end that they got the Mr. Potato Head commercial fact wrong— and how I knew they were wrong.
And, after a long pause, the Snapple Fact person said...
