Can Numerology and Astrology be worked together?

Here is an interesting thread on the topic:
1. Some would say that Astrology and Numerology are not reconcilable disciplines since they work from different perspectives, the first being based on the movement of the stars and the second on the frequency of numbers.
2. Some astrologers I came to know (in Brazil, I don't speak for everyone) are of the opinion that it is absurd to relate planetary rulers to the years through numbers.
3. I find this mention funny, when they forget that some techniques of secondary progressions and prophecies are based on, ironically, numerical frequencies. They forget that the "planetary kameas" are based ... numerically.
4. In the astrological tradition, especially Jyotish, there seems to be no contradiction. The use of "Katapayadi", as explained in the following thread, is a technique that is possible to be successfully applied in the analysis of transits. https://twitter.com/veda_padma/status/1345377050673049601?s=20
5. "Katapayadi" is used in almost sacred texts in Jyotish, such as the Jaimini Sutras, whose mysteries of their aphorisms are best understood by applying the technique to their passages and keywords.
6. Another derivation is "Rashi Akshar", as in the exposed wire. Even in the Chinese divination arts, "Bazi" or "Zi Wei Dou Shu", some stars are arbitrarily chosen by numerical techniques. https://twitter.com/PunyaPrakop_/status/1345823772293681152?s=20
7. Returning to the "Katapayadi" theme, the technique is very simple, as detailed by @veda_padma: https://twitter.com/veda_padma/status/1345377053139468291?s=20
8. But to be more illustrative, I will choose an example with a nativity of a public person, whom I choose Princess Diana, whose biography can be easily consulted below:

9. Diana in Hindi is "डायना". In a brief calculation, the forward sequence is 30. The reverse sequence is 03. The house number is 3, and the house sign is Gemini. This without having to make any division given the low value obtained.
10. The sign of Gemini (and its ruler, Mercury) in the Nativity ends up being the theme of the seventh house, considered an angle of importance in astrological analysis, now a house opposite to "life" (Asc) and linked to public enemies, marriage, contracts , etc.
11. I find this technique curious, because it sets some precedents in other aspects of mystical and magical study. As one might imagine, the development of Western numbers as we currently conceive it reinforces this sense.
12. Taking into account these Indo-Arabic origins of numbers, I believe that the technique was perpetuated in the cultural melting pot of the Middle East, with a brief hellenic influence (via Alexandria) that was transmitted between Jews and muslims in the similar development.
13. Like the Arab abjad and, the most popular version, Kabbalistic gematria, which in turn became popular in Europe through works like "The Three Books of Hidden Philosophy", by Cornelius Agrippa.
14. In this work, Agrippa makes comments that are very similar to the "Katapayadi" technique:

15. Exploring the theme of "Princess of Wales", we can follow the following application: Diana is worth 55, John (father) is worth 107 and Frances (mother) is 185.
16. The sum of all values results in 347 which divided by 12, deiza 11 for the rest. The sign connected to Diana's name would then be Aquarius, where, curiously, she had Moon and Jupiter in her Nativity.
17. Additionally, observing the division by 9, as suggested by Agrippa, Diana would have a value of 5, Mercury, which in her Nativity is in Cancer, suffering the combustion of the Sun.
18. From this point it is quite evident to understand that in the periods of the prophecies of Aquarius or the merchants of Mercury Diana had greater prominence or disclosure of his name, as demonstrated by his Nativity in which Mercury is in an angular and highly evident house.
