Something about #CriminalJusticeBehindClosedDoors was deeply disturbing.. May be because the kind of abuse shown wasn’t unusual (not in exact sense) This you are not good enough, it’s your mistake and the difference of class making one person feel inferior/having no choice.

We hve all seen marriages where a woman slowly loses all her confidence, has panic attacks and sees therapists.. we have seen charming men who were super controlling and who dominated each & every decision in their personal life. We have seen women alienated from family.

As teenagers we had a charming good looking neighbour. As kids we believed he was the perfect husband who got flowers in morning for wife’s birthday. A few years later the woman walked out finally after a decade and half of physical emotional abuse. We had ignored her scars.
