Our path to get even this far has been bumpy for sure. In 2021 let's get more comfortable talking about and being there for women + couples who struggle w/fertility or experience pregnancy losses. I'll start bc opening up w/our friends + fam has been a balm on some real pain 2/x
In less than a year we lost two pregnancies and had an early scare with this one. All is healthy today but the losses were the worst pain I've ever felt. I'll never be able to speak to the pain Abby went through. She is the strongest person I'll ever know. 3/x
Abby already had a sense of what her girlfriends had been through; but *shockingly* this isn't a common topic of convo for men. Talking abt it with my guy friends was helpful for me and for them. We gotta get it out there bc it's not new and its not going away 4/x
So, yes we're thrilled. But our pregnancy losses will always be there. For every baby bump post there's a couple in anguish. Let's support them through their pain as much as we celebrate joyful announcements. 5/x
Oh yea btw: shoutout the the #MAleg for passing the Roe Act, because newsflash Charlie: not every "choice" is one a woman *wants* to be making.
