I'm applying to the housing list this year cuz I will be 29 in May and would like to have moved out at least once before I turn 30. Also, disabled by chronic illness = unable to work = deeply unlikely to be able to afford to rent privately in Dublin where I need to stay cuz Drs.
I'm v apprehensive but excited.
I have so much art that never got hung in my room, enough for a whole home's worth of rooms! And I'm worried but excited about managing a household budget. And then I worry about how many spices I use when I cook and omg spices aren't cheap! Hahaha

My main goal though, in my own place, post pandemic, will be to have enough blankets and a vast enough hot beverage selection to be able to swaddle and soothe all my friends and aquaintences. You want a mammying? Come to Rose's place she has spare pj's and will pet your hair!
I also want to have a comprehensive hot sauce selection. And I will never ever have to have meat in my fridge! I can put my food on any shelf I like!!

And if there isn't a dishwasher then I will buy a dishwasher! I've never had a dishwasher and rarely have washing up energy so it feels like a potential game changer. A small one though cuz I don't generate that much washing up left to my own devices... I can do without a dryer.
!!!!! My sewing machines can live on the table where I can use them whenever Iike instead of in mum and dad's wardrobe and me having to commandeer the family's dining room table for a week to do a project! The dream...

And I'm under no illusion about the speed at which our housing system works, I'm sure it'll be years but like this way I can apply for hap and hope a pal has a room going for cheap.
