Someone replied to a comment today on FB demanding to know how can the Nuremberg code be used if we are not at war? So that sent me on a legislation search.

Is Australia at war?
What is a cold war?
According to todays Spectator Australia is at war with China. https://www.spectator.com.au/2021/01/we-are-at-war-with-china/
As we know MSM is bias but here ABC gives a break down in 2020 of the needs and wants between the two countries

Getting back to my original question about war and the Nuremberg Code, I stumbled across this from The Great War. Note: how history repeats itself with sudden laws being rapidly implemented and draconian control measures such as banning protests.

When was the last time Australia declared war?
Have we ever stopped being at war? It seems that Parliament can go to war - sending troops etc are matters for the Prime Minister and Cabinet and do not involve the Governor-General or the Federal Executive Council. What is the point of having a GG?

'A Time of War' It seems we are still in a 'Time of War'
It seems the Nuremberg Code continues to be breached. An example below with Syphillis Studies.
We also have the Geneva Conventions in times of war
