Regarding their dress when they woke up, the PD said in pressconf, he'll adjust the sexual scenes from c-drama to fit with the audience from the age of 13 yo & In many sageuk, after a couple spent a night together, they wear a dress since people in Joseon uphold modesty.

What I meant was, many people said he doesn’t realize his feelings thus it’s impossible for him to sleep with her (I didn’t say that, some people did). When actually he’s very aware, but he said it differently. Just like in c-drama.

Regarding the idea that he only covered his action when the guards came, well, after that, they still have a long night to spend together. Only two of them. They are husband & wife. He loves her, and her subconscious Soyong loves him. No reason they couldn't do that.
