#beandad is yet another example of people not understanding how Twitter works. It's not your fucking diary. It's more like a bathroom wall where you sign your work.
If you don't want people who don't follow you and don't see the full picture to interact with your tweets, guess what? Twitter has a feature for that! Go private!
"But then how will I grow my brand?" We'll, there's the rub. You want people who don't follow you to see your tweets and think you're awesome. But they might think you're an asshole! You post in public, that's the chance you take.
