I'm a Celtic fan, but it is utterly indefensible for the squad to swan off to Dubai in the middle of a global pandemic. The rest of us are told to stay at home while they soak up the sun by the pool. Who the hell do they think they are?
It isn't even about the fact that the league is over in ***January*** as a result of their performance - it feels like they're sticking two fingers up to all the people struggling through what has been, for most, the hardest year of our lives.
If we found out that a bank or a legal firm had sent their staff half way around the world for a glorified training session in the sunshine we would - rightly - be absolutely furious. What makes this any different?
Every single person on that trip should be ashamed of themselves and in a fair system there would be punishment from the league and/or government. Why should people follow the rules when the richest footballers in Scotland decide they don't apply to them?
I'm so, so angry about this. I can't believe that anyone at @CelticFC ever thought it was in any way appropriate or acceptable.

An unmitigated apology is necessary but it isn't enough, and the buck ultimately stops with the man in charge.
