People who refuse to take their others' complaints seriously & are dismissive and inattentive when critical issues are brought to them will ALWAYS be blindsided when folks cut them out of their life.

"It came out of nowhere."
I personally came to someone TWENTY times with concerns once upon a time, and they still said it came "out of nowhere" when I eventually cut ties.
I see this happen over and over again to people I know. They talk to someone repeatedly -- who typically acts very dismissive of their concerns but has clearly heard them.

And said repeatedly warned party will tell EVERYONE after that the cutting of ties "came out of nowhere"
This has happened with lovers, with friends, with estranged family members... everyone.

Something that has been repeatedly said will suddenly be a "complete and total surprise" when the party who has been warning them for ages finally acts on it.
I'm fine btw. This is an anonymous third party's situation that has brought this up atm.

It's just an incredible pattern.
