2. Midnight

i actually saw some being mad that horikoshi killed midnight. i understand it’s sad but that doesn’t mean he’s bad at writing female characters and it’s the reason he killed her. she in the end still is a side character who’s death doesn’t make a huge impact on mc.
3. Uraraka

no matter how much people debate over this uraraka still officially isn’t just the possible love interest anymore. she started out as one but the moment she went “i’ll put those feelings away for now” is when her development truly began. yes, her development——
still hasn’t been so visible but if you actually read into it, there’s a lot about her that’s changed. from her finding the inspiration to get better, to deciding what kind of hero she wants to be, to her working hard towards becoming that person. she still has development.
a bonus - her character was properly introduced in the sports festival where bakugo was the only one to look at her with the respect and treat her like an equal and not some frail girl. her fight in the sports festival was awesome and she gave her best!
4. Yaoyorozu

she is one of the few female characters that has an origin and a developmental story to her. she had a whole arc (starting from the sports festival to the final exam) where she develops her confidence and overcomes her insecurities.
5. Drawing realistic bodies

now i haven’t read a LOT of manga’s but i’ve read enough to say not many artists i’ve seen draw realistic ( more representation in body sizes) bodies. i think that’s a point that should be noticed.
please do remember in the end they all are side characters. this story is still about izuku midoriya so it’s obvious not every character will get their origin arc. hori still does a good job in writing his female characters. if i missed any other points please feel free to tell.
