disclaimer: yes. i believe louis is not straight, that his relationship with eleanor is fake and that he's actually dating harry styles. i'm more than confused about his paternity. this thread is gonna be as objective as possible, so no matter what you believe in, you can read it

one direction were formed on the xfactor uk 2010. when their auditions air on tv louis is shown singing only the chorus of the song "hey there delilah". the audition isnt great yet he received a yes from all the judges, including heartless simon cowell. wonder why?

that wasn't the song he first auditioned with. his mom confirmed he actually went with "mr. brightside" at first but was nervous and simon stopped him and asked him to sing something else. she later said louis performed the song for the producers only, but that

doesn't make sense with what she said before and with this picture. louis wasn't signing with this much passion in the audition they aired on tv, so where would this be coming from? he's clearly on stage. so i believe they purposely cut his audition showing just a small bit

that led people wondering why louis got through. he didn't sing enough for the judges to make a conscious decision from what they saw on tv. we know louis is a great singer because he's proven it a thousand times, but how could the judges have known if he didn't something else?

going on to judges house. that was supposed to be the first time the boys sang together as a band in front of simon, their mentor. unfortunately louis hurt his foot and had to spend sometime at the hospital. he got back right before the performance but he didn't have a solo and

he was simply pushed on the background. this could be brushed off as a consequence of him being an idiot and not watching where he stepped on and so losing rehearsals. but he hurt his foot the day before the performance, you're telling me they didn't rehearse before that?

did they rehearse only just hours before the performance while louis was in the hospital? but how could he know what to do if he didn't try the song with them at least once? my theory is that he was already supposed to be just in the background.

that performance is painful to watch for me. as a louie, knowing how talented he was and how he got pushed in the back (just like niall actually) really pisses me off.

during the live shows on the xfactor louis had 0 solos. most of the time he's only harmonizing with the rest of the boys. he basically never had a moment for his voice to be the only one heard and you can see how that upsets him just by watching him.

don't get me wrong. his voice did make the difference in the harmonies but he basically never had a solo. niall was also pushed at the back while liam and harry got the most of the solos and zayn the high notes, but at least he had some solos. louis got even less than that.

if you watch all the live shows you see they all look the same: liam/harry starts the song. zayn harmonizing but being the main voice. niall and louis always doing the background melodies. niall sometimes got a solo. that's literally so fvcking sad to me.

and can you blame him? imagine watching all of your friends getting something and you're the only one that gets less. you start feeling like you're not deserving of whatever it is. so you'd probably do something to try and feel like you deserve it and get it.

anyway let's move on to their first album. Up All Night. Great album nothing to say but that out of 53:14 mins. Louis only gets 1:29 (4 secs more than Niall anyway, but still) not much considering liam, harry and zayn got more or less 6 mins each.

it wouldn't have been hard for them to give each of the boys more or less 10 mins but once again, louis is pushed in the back. i know niall was too but i'm focusing on louis right now and how he was treated in the media.

that lack of representation in the album is also mirrored in the media. louis is generally not papped nor considered much. he's mostly very private about his life and that's a point you need to remember for later.

let's get to his relationship with harry styles. they already were the closest in the band during the xfactor days and their bond grew stronger because they lived together.

the were not ashamed to admit that they were also pretty domestic: harry cooked for louis and did his laundry. they also tweeted often to each other using nicknames and sometimes they talked about their lazy days as if they shared a bed. i wont post all the proofs.

keep in mind this is before louis met eleanor.

the rumors starts spreading, harry and louis are clearly so close to each that their families end up spending time together. it's known jay and anne were also the two 1D moms that were the closest.

everyone started believing they were actually a couple. they never denied. the media used this in articles and there were often questions asked about "larry stylinson" the boys were happy to answer to that also increased the rumors. soon the couple stopped being seen as

the happy one but more as the closeted one. rumors moved their focus from their supposed love to their sexualities. suddenly things changed. larry stylinson becomes an hot topic in interviews that CANNOT be touched. louis starts dating eleanor calder and they say he moves

from his and harry's house. louis is suddenly papped more and everytime he's out with eleanor they make sure to give us pap pics and articles about. she's the most mentioned 1D girlfriend of all. of course the rumors about L&H sexualities don't fade away but increased, mostly

because louis tweetted this the day before he was first seen with eleanor

throughout the years, until 2015, we get constantly reminded that louis is straight, that he's not in a relationship with harry, that he has a girlfriend. harry and louis stop being so close and they stop living together. louis is now absolutely the straightest man out there

the larry rumors never stop no matter what they do. and this is important because of these tweets. louis responded angry to an article that apparently questioned his heterosexuality. this happend in 2014 around four release.

this is the article in question. harry had recently made some comments on stage about how everyone is welcome in 1D or something like that. it was the first time one of them acknowledged the lgbt community so it was fairly relevant.

the article doesn't question louis sexuality and doesn't mention any possible relationship with harry styles. the journalist answered with these tweets but louis never responded. she has a point and she is right.

louis tweet sounded homophobic because of what the article said. he distanced himself from the lgbt community and made it sound like he hated to be associated with us. if the article was questioning his sexuality he would have been right in reacting like he did. but it wasn't.

that same day the boys had a planned livestream (which was late of 15 mins and many believe its because of these tweets) with ben winston. one of the questions asked was, what's the weirdest rumor you heard about yourself and this was the boys answer:

"and then we used to say we were sleeping with someone" is what harry says. which again, weird? considering everything? louis can't come up with anything and all the boys focus on niall. this was the right moment for louis to shut down his gay rumors like he did on twitter

or mention what happened on twitter but he didn't. why? he most likely didn't tweet that. we know louis isn't homophobic and we know he gets pretty defensive when homophobia happens. in this video he looks pretty pissed off if you ask me

so why show him as homophobic? i still have no idea. well i do. hes being sabotaged but again

moving on to 2015. we get these pics from (of course let me tell you) the sun. louis hasn't broken up with eleanor so he's- cheating? like? soon after we get the elounor break up article and this is when things start messing up.

right now louis has been depicted as homophobic, super straight and now as a cheater. right. uhm not at all the romantic louis we know that sets up a winter wonderland in his garden for his girlfriend or tries to cook something even when he can't just to impress his date.

BUT THINGS GET WORSE? somehow they messed him up even more. he becomes a party boy, womanizer that gets a random girl pregnant.

first. louis gets papped basically every night for about three months (march-may) going out with friends and the article is pretty vocal about how much time louis has spent out at night.

which is quite weird. remember when i said he was very private and it was rare to get pictures from paps? now we do all the time. his locations get leaked everytime by the same person that organised his nights out, which led people to believe this is actually staged.

i know louis said during miss you promo that he didn't feel like himself during that time, but why didn't his team take care of his image? why did they leak his location so paps could know where to go? much sus if you ask me

soon after we get louis "womanizer" tomlinson. he gets papped with many girls and although he never showed any interest in them, tabloids started saying he was having a thing going on with basically every single one of them.

otrat takes over though and louis is suddenly his usual self again.

except we start getting pregnancy rumors no one dares to shut down explicitly. not even louis. we only get this weird interaction of him and liam holding a doll and saying "it's not real. it's a fake baby". everyone thought this meant he was denying the baby rumors

but why doing it through this weird interaction? why not simply acknowledging this big rumor and have a spokesperson for the band talk to a popular magazine to shut it down? this is a big thing and fans don't buy into it. especially after this.

so louis is now depicted as the least important of the band, homophobic, womanizer, the first dad that of the band, the one that got a random girl pregnant and now we add onto that with danielle

at first we get pictures of them just going around together in december or november i'm not sure, but then we get a confirmation article with this picture.

his son is supposed to be born in few weeks yet he dates someone else and they talk about it freely as he's not going to be a dad soon. again. they're pushing on him a bad image. they make it look like louis doesn't care about his kid and it's not supposed to be like this

again im wondering why no one is taking care of his public image and how are they letting these news break out?

the same month of the confirmation of his new relationship we get the first pictures of louis and his newborn son ! most people think it's cute and all, but the babygate rumors that started in july 2015 increase.

louis basically lives in LA to be with his kid and we start getting pap pictures of his and danielle and freddie basically every single day. we also know way too many details about freddie. he's a toddler and people are obsessed by this kid and NOT in a cute way.

louis gay rumors haven't shut down of course. not even with a kid. people still believe it's babygate and that danielle is not his girlfriend, especially because of all the infos we have about him and all the pics of the couple. briana adds to with with this tweet.

what happens next is horrible of course. we all remember louis brave performance at the xfactor.

that same night louis went out clubbing and this news breaks out. it's not true. they didn't party. they celebrated jay with just a few people that knew her and wanted to show her family love. Dan and Louis booked the whole club to do that.

images similar to these are also posted on the internet where louis and tommy (lottie's ex boyfriend) are seen getting angry and screaming at someone.

most people described this episode as louis and tommy becoming violent due to alcohol. truth is another story. someone dared to say something about his mum and the two boys became defensive. again. trying to portray louis as a bad person.

as the end of december approached everything that was around louis falls. his relationship with danielle proved to be stunt when pics from the year of her and her actual boyfriend are leaked. we still get a break up article

So apparently they are friends and still talk. She was there for him during the hard time and everything.

Well. Louis image seems to be clearing up a little. We don't get as much freddie content from paps anymore (just couple of pap pics throughout 2017 but that's it) and the media showed a bit of humanity in louis after years of treating him like pure sh1t

eleanor comes back early in 2017. once again it's the sun that breaks the news. but we're not surprised.

once again we get pictures basically everyday of the two together. and what's crazy is the way louis talks about their relationship in interviews and on articles

it feels like their two years break never happened. have you ever heard someone say they were "danielled" it's a joke that came up from this situation. louis and the media basically erased danielle from the narrative. but if they remained close friends and if she was

so important for him during that hard time why did they delete her completely? louis tells in different occasions how eleanor was there for him during that horrible period and how he used to text her even when he was with danielle.

of course this doesn't make any sense with the sweet and caring and loving louis fans know they make a joke about it. but danielle is completely forgotten by now. most people don't even know he dated her which? what are you trying to achieve by doing this? idk

louis tweets this and fans, of course as you could see, worry about what's happening. louis is angry. louies are ready to fight who hurt the baby you know? he tells us the industry is pissing him off. he's writing the album at the time and when he released bty he teased a tour

so his solo career is ready to start fully. like it did when louis released walls. what happened then?

louis post on ig this snippet of always you. at the time we didn't know it was always but louis chose to share these precise lyrics "i went to amsterdam without you and all i could do was think about you"

he had recently went to amsterdam with eleanor and wrote the song around the time he came back. so obviously the song is not about her. what people think of course is that the song is about harry styles. as the rumors haven't shut down not even after 1D hiatus.

so louis can't release the song in 2017. because he's in a relationship with eleanor. he tweets that he's angry with the label and then leaks this bit of the song. logic to believe the label prevented him from releasing the song as the next single. (we got miss you in dec)

but louis is smart.

he announces through fans just like you on coming out day releasing it at midnight. the lyric video touches many hot topics of our society shutting down louis homophobia and also "spitting" on his bed person public image. the song debuts n.2 in the USA

we get miss you in december and it looks like louis career is about to take off in 2018 but something happens.

the first months of 2018 goes by with absolutely nothing. nothing happens. everyone was literally expecting the album and the tour. he was literally planning tour as he said he was looking into small venues to get closer to fans.

we get the announcement that louis is gonna be an xfactor judge and the fandom is of course angry about it. louis apologized and explained through this video

everyone is worried and louis video doesn't help. it looks like louis is reading something as he keeps looking in the same spot and people's dislike for simon cowell is so big they don't want louis around him

the xfactor actually ended up clearing louis public image. he was so nice and genuine and kind everyone literally loved him.

what's horrible? simon's control over louis on that table. louis mic was shut down when he tried to defend one direction, many of his speeches were cut short and many scenes were cut out of the show.

louis ends up winning not only basically every british heart but also the xfactor

things get even better in 2019 when louis announces two of us and the promo he gets for that song is actually great. unfortunately, tragedy strikes his family again when he suddenly loses his sister. he has to cancel basically everything he has planned of course.

what happens next is quite horrible. media and twitter literally say his sister deserved what happened because she was a drug addict. and literally eleanor likes an instagram comment agreeing with this narrative. she removed it when people found out.

louis is silent for a couple of months until he announces his next performances. one being ccme.

ccme is quite important because of the songs choices: louis chose to make us listen to unreleased songs before the announcement of the album. he chose too young, dlibyh, defenceless and habit. the lyrics are loud and screaming to us.

we get the announcement of the album and then the tour and we get merchandise and finally everything seems to be setting in place.

covid hits in and louis has to postpone everything repeatedly but what's really sad is this tweet.

its just may and he was supposed to be on tour for his debut album? what you mean nothing to promote? you could have done something on the first wave ? but he didn't. he took time off which he deserved but still?

summer goes by with rescheduling again and then we finally get this:

splitting from syco means freedom. syco and sony are fvcked up and that has been proven different times. louis being free from that label means him being free to release what he wants when ge wants. it means him obtaining the respect

and recognition he deserves. read copy of a copy of a copy lyrics and understand what he's telling us. he's been bad but now he's doing better. and it'll always get better and better. it's a long way up but trust me if i tell you things are about to change.
