1/ In my opinion, the Pfizer 🦠Vaccine💉distribution to LTC homes is feasible.🧵👇🏻

According to the Pfizer monograph and instructions for dilution:
- A carton of 25 vials or 195 vials may take up to 2 or 3 hours to thaw in the refrigerator; thus, this is enough time to transfer
2/ the vaccine from a hospital to the LTC home or a nearby pharmacy.
- Notably, vials may be stored in the refrigerator [2°C to 8°C (35°F to 46°F)] for up to 5 days (120 hours); thus, the vials can be distributed to LTCH/pharmacies on Monday and administer during the week.
3/ - Prior to dilution, the multiple dose vial may be stored at room temperature for no more than 2 hours. After dilution, multiple dose vials must be stored between 2°C to 25°C (35°F to 77°F) and used within 6 hours from the time of dilution; thus,
4/ this allows for enough time to administer the vaccine to the residents of LTC/R/Gp homes.

‼️Let’s administer the vaccine to ALL the residents of LTC/R/Gp homes within the next two weeks, and prevent more deaths.🙏🏼
