While questions swirl around where politicians spent their holidays, our PM may not have left the capital region but he has definitely been absent.

Case in point, his Gov makes last ditch announcements on serious issues brought up by the opposition (testing, vaccines etc) and...

...the PM only seemed to offer prerecorded messages and generic news releases. He hasn't even offered sympathies to the family of slain Police Sgt Harnett.

Politicians judgement should be held to a higher standard. Whether that be travel plans, policy, or ethics. And Canada...

...currently has a national Government that exceeds in failures on all three of those fronts (examples: Private jet trips in the spring, pandemic management & health advice flip flops, & insider deals like WE and Baylis just to name a few).

For the record, as a number of people have asked: I have not traveled internationally since the pandemic and celebrated Christmas and NYE at my home in Alberta with only my immediate family.
