The suggestion here is #MUFC are unfairly receiving penalties. Describing Rashford & Martial as "serial offenders." The scandal here is the punditry. One of the reasons I support VAR is because of shock-jock punditry. They create mythology out of tabloidism. Red tops rely on scandal to sell fake news. #MUFC are not receiving an unfair amount of penalties & VAR ensures this, in the main. It's an inane, pathetic debate.
We could have a game without VAR if the football industry rejected the type of thinking Keys & Gray are pushing. Unfortunately, we need VAR to disprove refs favour clubs like #MUFC. Refs deserve to be backed by tech so their integrity is protected. Shame on pundits that do this.
I'm just surprised Richard Keys didn't blame the pandemic on Paul Pogba.
