Right then. My wishes for 2021. In no particular order. To be joined with yours. But I warn you I may get arsey if they don't happen.....
1. That we all understand there is a TWIN crisis - climate AND nature. Both need solving with urgency. Utterly intertwined. Actions must address and take account of both. Fix just one and we and our planet are still stuffed.
2. That those in the heat of the nature battle stop noodling around in their bubble with pet false binaries. It's not species conservation OR rewilding. It's not natural regeneration OR tree planting. It's not hanging on to the bits we have left OR reintroductions.
Recovery will mean all of it in the right places for the right reasons. But most importantly a lot more of it all, joined up, at scale, working together.
